In Spring of 2012 Jeff began an analysis of the relationship between an artist and children by working closely with his own children. This resulted in an ongoing practice, and manuscript, which continues to this day. As an educator working with children everyday, the text is constantly evolving. "Bringing Children Into Your Artistic Practice" is still in progress and will eventually find its way to a finished text.

In 2013 Jeff published his thesis, "A Simple Potter's Family Based Practice." This book outlines the journey of an artist beginning a family while settling into a deeper understanding of their artistic self. Copies of this book are available through the site store.
